The goal of the thesis is the design and implementation of charge to voltage conversion channels of a dedicated integrated front-end (Application Specific Integrated Circuit, ASIC) for tactile systems.
The circuit allows continuous acquisition and simultaneous sampling among channels, is modular and configurable to acquire signals coming from piezoelectric transducers. Adequate system design and optimization is required to achieve the objectives.
The circuit will be realized in CMOS technology (minimum channel length: 90nm). CADENCE® SPECTRE® VIRTUOSO® and LAYOUT® will be the main CAD tools to use to design and develop the integrated analog circuit.
