L. Seminara presents COSMIClab research in prosthetics at the IEEE World Haptics 2017 Conference, held in Fürstenfeldbruck (Munich), Germany, June 6-9, 2017. First presentation is about the invented solids mechanics algorithm to reconstruct the contact force distribution (Workshop on Recent advances in modeling skin mechanics and tactile afferent responses). Second presentation is about the recently developed distributed sensing-electrostimulation system to close the loop in prosthesis control – work done in collaboration with the group of Prof. Farina (Transactions on Haptics Featured Session).
